Pam Allyn speaks about how Children’s Literature impacts our children and the children of the world.

Have you ever met a person and knew that they were literally going to change the world?
Last Saturday I met just that kind of person. Pam Allyn, author of the book “What to Read When…The Books and Stories to Read to Your Child and All the Best Times to Read Them” is taking her message and mission into schools here in the states, as well as into the “slums” of Africa. And she’s changing these kids’ worlds…one children’s book at a time.
I met up with Pam at the Drake Hotel here in Chicago to talk to her about the amazing work her foundation “Lit World” is doing, as well as to discuss tips for creating life-long, enthusiastic readers in our own homes.
Trust me, it’s worth the whole five minutes it’s going to take you to watch this.
You can friend LitWorld on Facebook, or find out more about Pam’s amazing work at their website HERE
BTW…the Drake was setting up for a beautiful Indian wedding during our interview. Thanks for listening past the banging:)
