Wearing it forward…w/ spirit.

“My wish is that through WYSH even one family feels newly inspired to honor relationships, to connect more deeply, to embrace its flaws and repair its ruptures, to build a bridge, to forgive, to celebrate a child’s authentic spirit, and to recognize and nurture our potential for growth, community and change.”
– Lu Hanessian, grateful mom of two boys and WYSH founder
Based on 9 themes [authenticity, trust, inspiration, freedom, intuition, empathy, respect, empowerment and connection], WYSH is a brand of message tees and canvas bags and notecards and many other goodies with a voice.
From onesies that say “Put yourself in my booties.” and toddler tees that remind us to “Hang up and talk with me.” and “I may be small but I get it.” to youth tees like “Non-conformist” and women’s tees that say “Trust your gut.” and “Embrace your flaws.”…
WYSH is about the power of story in letting go of fear and cultivating joy.
I love that Lu has a “wear it forward” philosophy that guides her business.
WYSH donates a very gracious percentage of profits to organizations that help kids and families thrive.
I popped my tank on as soon as it arrived and I gotta say, it’s beyond comfy and has just enough elasticity to keep it’s shape all day long. When Lu said I could pick any saying I wanted for my tank, I borrowed a line from her toddler section and went with “pardon my exuberance”. When I’m feeling extra giddy it’ll work, and when I’m feeling slightly sarcastic, it’ll work too.
I also forgot to show my older son’s awesome tee that’s black and says “non-conformist” across the top. How perfect is that for my almost teenaged dude? He thought it was “epic”.
You simply MUST see all of Lu’s designs on her beautiful site wearyourspirit.com
She has an inspiring story and a truly bright and happy spirit.

And to top it all off…Lu is giving one Hoo-dee visitor a FREE custom tee and a set of her delightful WYSH themed blank note cards!
How bout’ that??
So go visit Lu’s empowering and whimsical site, see why I just adore her “stuff”, and then make a comment and tell me to put your name in the hat to win the loot!

Simply lovely. I adore the message of the shirts….how beautiful to follow your spirit like this….
like the t-shits. love tru’s facial expressions. we’ll hit the site. thanks.
Seriously need to get this shirt for my kids to remind ME!
Love this idea!!! We are always trying to build relationships in our school. What a great way to kickoff the year with my teachers wearing fantastically positive sayings for kids and adults. So many of my children at school come from environments that could use a big dose of positve!! Too many times I see things on kids shirts that are much bettr left unwritten, unsaid, unthought about!!I am checking out the site asap. I think a new shirt would be great for teacher appeciation week too.
Think I will mention this on Edu-linx. Good gift for parents to give a positive thought!
LOVE these tees! The messages are beautiful. We should do a blogger collage where we each wear a different message that speaks our souls. How awesome would that be?
xoxo
This is so gab-o-licious! And that is exactly what I would want on my t-shirt or tank. Gab-o-licious Goddess!
These are too cute! We can’t decide on just one! Giggles, I just had to explain “Non-conformist” to my 5 yr old then it became his favorite.
I love her items. My favorite item though is the canvas bags. So many inspirational items there!
I agree the canvas bags rock!
No regrets. is just how we live our life (I certainly try to make that happen with the blog!)
The “Hang up and talk with me” shirt kind of hits a sensitive note… Love the reminder on what’s important!
don’t squash my spirit.
I love it.
“don’t squash my spirit”
love it!
I love the “Don’t squash my spirit” and “hang up and talk with me.”
What important reminders for today’s parents.
Love the hang up and talk with me. It’s about what is really important!
In line with the HANG Up and talk to me, checkout a neat website called Togetherville.com. Great site alternative when kids under 13 want to social network. Its like preschool for FACEBOOK!!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these t-shirts! Now, which ones will I choose for my family?
