Save a bag of various candies for your gingerbread houses. We pull the fun ones like the mini-hershey bars and m&ms and skittles and save them in the freezer. Then I’m with you, slowly throw it away. I don’t even like sweets and i end up with at least a few a day this week.

    Ann I LOVE this idea!
I have a gingerbread house from last Christmas we didn’t put together and I’m hoping it works for this year:) Thanks for the great idea!
I somehow justify those mini candy bars as a quick snack as I pass by. I hit the trainer on Thursday with a little more booty to kick.

  3. As always I love your ideas Meredith! I was caught “candy” handed when the girls found an empty wrapper on the floor this morning… I had two little Sherlocks hot on my trail! I think I will start slowly tucking it away for our gingerbread houses. Thanks!

    Thanks Mindy!
I now shove the wrappers WAY to the bottom of the garbage can. We should all post pics on here of our halloween candy houses come December!

    BTW!
The jingle bells ya’ll heard at the top of the vlog was my little mutt Roxy coming to see what all the talking was about. I was really afraid she was going to start eating the candy off of my legs.

  6. Brandy Bates and I have been recently discussing this same info just an weeks previously.
