A “look what I found!” Friday from Hallmark!
I’m a self professed card-a-holic and the new Kids Collection line of whimsical and touching cards from Hallmark are some of the best I’ve seen. I interviewed Molly Wigand, one of the writers of this new line of cards and she said they wanted to use the same kind of language modern parents were using with their own kids. (She had to do a wee bit of convincing to get the big wigs at Hallmark to let them use the word booger and crap).
Finally cards for every kid occasion that speak to our rascally offspring the way we do.
Here are a few other cards in the line I think are just great:

Oh My Gosh…they said CRAP! But tell me you haven’t had a little person in your life doing just what this furry creature is doing?
And well, these next two just made me smirk.

You can find these quirky cards right now at Hallmark Gold Crown stores nationwide, and some of them are available for purchase on-line HERE.
I plan to buy a batch and use them as the need arrises. I think you’ll like em’ as much as I do.
(Tru’s already asked to receive the booger card.)
WAIT!! Don’t forget the best part! Just leave a comment below and you will be entered to win our Hallmark card giveaway!
Hallmark has generously agreed to put together a ten pack of assorted cards from this new line just for all you Hoo-dee followers!!
So, tell us your favorite person to send cards to, or what kinds of cards you like best, or what you had for lunch. It’s just too easy not to. I’ll be picking the winner on next Monday’s vlog!
Enjoy the weekend super-hot-smart-mamas of the world!

I really love giving cards…especially for no specific reason except to say “Hi!” Looking forward to checking Hallmark out! Thanks!
This “super-hot-smart-mama” likes to send cards to friends for no real occasion, just to keep in touch or for laughs. I need some more; pick me, pick me!!
I too love to send and receive cards and I get so busy with work that I forget how much I love doing this. You have inspired me to go out this weekend and shop for some new cards! I am going to send one to you!
Have a great weekend!
omgosh. I am a card-a-holic. love to send them to friends for no reason…hubby when the mood strikes me.
honestly — a stress relief for me is to go to a Hallmark and just browse…is that weird?
I love them just because it gives everyone a great reason to pick up that antiquated tool called a pen or pencil and actually WRITE and WRITE NICE things.
My students LOVE getting their very own birthday card mailed to their house. Kids don’t get mail anymore , they get tweets!!! keep em comin Hallmark
Hey hoo dee hooters, hallmark is giving one of these away for free at your hallmark store!!
I love to send cards because they say what I can’t say! Merrily, I love the booger card! Too funny!
I love quirky humorous cards the best. There is nothing better than finding a card in the mail unexpectedly. It’s been sure to brighten my day on a few occasions when my Mimi has sent me one!
Hi Meredith!
Love the video–thanks for posting. Really enjoyed meeting you at Blissdom and hope you’ll be in touch if you’re ever in KC!
Happy Monday!
Molly
My nephew loves to receive mail so starting last month I’m sending him a card once a month. I know he will love them.
I do love getting cards for friends I haven’t seen in a long while. It makes it fun catching up.
With the world of e-mail, facebook, twitter, myspace etc… it is so exciting when you recieve mail from friends and family..so I like to make a point to send cards to my friends for their birthdays and sometimes for no reason at all, but to just say hi! If I were to win..the cards would be put to good use for sure.

I LOVE that all of you LOVE cards the way I do!!
And Molly…I’d love to come see ya at your Hallmark Headquarters sometime!! It was a joy to meet you and hear your story about becoming a card writer, hoping to post that video interview too:)
Happy Happy monday morning everyone!
