I have a friend named Sari who is truly one of the kindest and most good-natured chicks I know. Whenever I see her, she always extends the same greeting: a warm bright smile, a soft “hello”, and an honest hug. Sari makes you feel like you matter. It’s no wonder people like her so much. But I admire Sari for much more than her cheery disposition or sweet salutations. Sari is one of those warrior moms. One who’s had to become well-versed in the world of “special needs” kids.
